Abure and the party Exco are trying to rigged themselves into remaining in power. They have decided to limit those qualified to run for executive post to people who have been part of the party longer than two years. What that means is that all Obidient who join the party after PO are disqualified include Peter Obi himself.

This principalities have no clue or sense of purpose apart from acting entitled. 

They have carried out three gubernatorial election and failed woefully by, 

1: betraying Bayelsa state nominee. In the nominee word, the party collected 100m to support the opposition.

2: By not giving Kogi state nominee the right support.

3: By supporting the highest bidder in Imo state who gave delegates $300 to all delegates and promise another $300 if he wins against the most popular Obidient candidate.

The same executive have just repeated similar defeatist faith in Edo state by going against the wishes of the majority of people of the state. 

APC and PDP got it right and were not motivated by self inflicted pain fueled by lack of foresight.

This present Labour Party must put the interests of the party above their selfish self and do the right thing. Or else self destruction of the party is eminent. 

They must allow democratic process of the executive selection with room for fresh blood to take the party further. 

You cannot you cannot pour a new wine in an old wine skin. 

It’s time for change and growth. 

 True leadership knows when to step aside and allow change and growth. As such, It’s time for Abure to go.
