Embarking on a journey towards a comprehensive transformation of the educational landscape in Edo State and Delta State demands a strategic approach tailored to the unique needs and challenges of these regions. The first crucial step in this endeavor is the meticulous compilation of a comprehensive inventory detailing the locations and distribution of all primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions within the states. This inventory must encompass both publicly funded and privately owned establishments, serving as the cornerstone for discerning between viable and non-viable institutions.


The urgency of this undertaking is underscored by the glaring disparities in educational quality and access evident in current indicators within Edo and Delta States. A significant portion of students in these regions face barriers to accessing quality education, perpetuating a cycle of inequality and hindering socio-economic progress. Recognizing the pivotal role of education in driving human capital development and sustainable growth, the state governments must prioritize the establishment of a robust, integrated system of high-quality education.


Furthermore, it is essential to acknowledge the regional nuances within Edo and Delta States, each presenting its own set of challenges and opportunities.
