CPO OSUN STATE STORMS ILESHA IN GRAND CELEBRATION OF PETER OBI’S 64TH BIRTHDAY


Greetings to the entire noble house of CPO and all lovers of the New Nigeria project.


On this remarkable day, 19th of July, 2025, the Coalition for Peter Obi (CPO) Osun State Chapter, under the visionary leadership of Hon. Comrade Afolabi Olubunmi, converged at the Campaign Office of Hon. Aloba Gideon, in a glorious show of unity and action for the Peter Obi 64th Birthday Outreach Rally.


In fulfillment of our commitment to grassroots engagement and compassion for the people, we embarked on a massive outreach campaign across Ilesha township. We reached out to traders, market women, the Muslim community, street beggars, and the general public — all in celebration of our Principal and People's Leader, His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi.


Among the materials distributed were:


"Congo" measuring containers to garri, rice, and beans sellers


Branded hand fans, CPO flags, big plastic bowls


Praying kettles for the Muslim faithful


Packs of raw food items including spaghetti and salt for over 70 beggars and needy individuals



We stormed the largest market in Ilesha, engaging the traders with gifts and messages of hope. The prayers showered on Peter Obi by the market women and the Muslim faithful at Ilesha Central Mosque and other local mosques were overwhelming and deeply touching.


Indeed, the presence of CPO was deeply felt across Ilesha, and the joy on the faces of the beneficiaries was a clear sign that the message of love, equity, and compassion that Peter Obi represents continues to resonate deeply with the people.


All of this would not have been possible without the immense generosity and unwavering commitment of Hon. Aloba Gideon, the Federal House of Representatives hopeful for Ilesha South, whose contribution made the rally a resounding success.


We also specially appreciate Professor Fakokunde (popularly known as De-Prof), for his outstanding moral and strategic support. His intellectual leadership and dedication to the movement remain an inspiration to us all.


It was truly a great day. A day of impact. A day of love. A day for Peter Obi.
