One Year of The New Deal Agenda: Celebrating a Year of Purpose, Progress and People-Centred Leadership in Ikorodu North LCDA

It is a moment of celebration, reflection and renewed hope as the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Apanisile, alongside the Deputy Executive Chairman, Hon. Matthew, and the Councillor representing Ward E1, Hon. Banjoko (BBO), mark one year in office under the inspiring banner of "The New Deal Agenda."

Exactly one year ago, the people of Ikorodu North entrusted a new generation of leaders with the responsibility of steering the affairs of the council. They came into office with a clear promise—to provide purposeful leadership, accelerate development and put the welfare of the people at the heart of governance. Today, one year later, that vision continues to shape the direction of the council.

The New Deal Agenda was more than a campaign slogan; it was a commitment to building an Ikorodu North where government remains accessible, responsive and dedicated to sustainable community development. Over the past twelve months, the administration has continued to promote programmes and policies aimed at improving the lives of residents while strengthening the relationship between the government and the people.

As the Executive Chairman, Hon. Apanisile has remained focused on providing leadership anchored on service, accountability and development. His administration has continued to champion initiatives designed to move Ikorodu North forward, while fostering collaboration with stakeholders, community leaders, youths and women to ensure inclusive governance.

Standing firmly beside him is the Deputy Executive Chairman, Hon. Matthew, whose loyalty, commitment and support have contributed to the smooth administration of the council. His role in complementing the Chairman's vision has helped strengthen the leadership structure, ensuring that the objectives of the New Deal Agenda continue to receive the attention they deserve.

At the grassroots level, Hon. Banjoko (BBO), the Councillor representing Ward E1, has continued to demonstrate that true leadership begins with serving the people directly. Through consistent engagement with constituents and initiatives aimed at youth and community development, he has remained a strong voice for Ward E1 while contributing meaningfully to the overall progress of Ikorodu North LCDA.

The first year in office has provided an opportunity to lay a solid foundation for greater achievements ahead. While governance is a continuous journey, every milestone deserves recognition, especially when it reflects dedication, teamwork and a commitment to public service.

As residents and stakeholders commemorate this one-year anniversary, expectations remain high that the coming years will witness even greater strides in infrastructure, youth empowerment, community development, education, healthcare and economic growth across Ikorodu North LCDA.

At Olamide Gudoo OnlineTv, we congratulate Hon. Apanisile, Hon. Matthew and Hon. Banjoko (BBO) on completing their first year in office. We celebrate your dedication to public service and encourage you to remain steadfast in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Ikorodu North.

May the next chapter of The New Deal Agenda bring greater achievements, lasting development and continued prosperity for every resident of Ikorodu North LCDA.

Congratulations on One Year of Purposeful Leadership.
