DEHYDRATION — WHEN YOUR BODY NEEDS MORE WATER 💧
HEALTH CORNER WITH MONICA 🩺.
Did you know that your body can become dehydrated simply because you're not drinking enough water?
Dehydration occurs when your body loses more fluid than it takes in. It can happen through sweating, vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, or simply not drinking enough water.
Signs you may be dehydrated include:
• Excessive thirst
• Dry mouth and lips
• Dark yellow urine
• Dizziness or weakness
• Headache
• Passing urine less frequently
💡 Health Tip: Don't wait until you feel extremely thirsty before drinking water. Your body needs regular fluid intake throughout the day.
Remember: Severe dehydration can be dangerous and may require medical attention.
