A Tribute to Excellence: General Ibrahim Babangida to Receive Inaugural African Diaspora Honors Award


 The African Diaspora Honors  Award (ADHA) has been established to recognize a remarkable individual—one who has made significant contributions to Nigeria and its people. Despite his numerous achievements and the foundational work he has laid for development, he has not received the recognition he deserves from Nigerians. In light of this, the ADHA was created to honor General Ibrahim Babangida, who will be the inaugural recipient of this prestigious award. Moving forward, his accomplishments will serve as the benchmark for future awardees.

 In a significant move to tackle youth unemployment and promote skill acquisition, the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ikorodu Central Branch, has commenced a fully funded 6-month vocational training program for youths within Ikorodu Central. The initiative covers a wide range of high-demand vocational trades, including:   Hairdressing, Hair Barbing, Fashion Designing, Catering, Makeover Artistry, Event Planning & Decoration, Photography, and other related skills.
